Meet Dr. Andrew J. Dunbar,
DDS, MS, PC
Dr. Andrew J. Dunbar is a highly qualified orthodontist who has been providing exceptional orthodontic care since 2002. He began his career as a general dentist in the U.S. Navy and private practice before pursuing his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Dunbar is a Castle Pines resident, and he and his wife, Jennifer, have two daughters, Sierra and Jane.
They are active members in the Castle Pines and Castle Rock communities, and Dr. Dunbar is committed to supporting community activities, local schools, and local sports teams. Dr. Dunbar’s hobbies include golf, travel, pickleball, and watching all the Colorado professional sports teams!
Education and Professional Associations
Dr. Dunbar received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). Following this, he completed a General Practice Residency at Naval Medical Center in San Diego. Dr. Dunbar received his Master of Science (MS) in Oral Biology and Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
Dr. Dunbar is a member of several professional associations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metropolitan Denver Dental Society, Past President of the Colorado Summer Orthodontic Meeting, and a member of the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce and Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce.
